We are looking for a Graduate Engineering Trainee to join our Quality team. .
The candidate must be currently enrolled or a recent graduate from an Engineering college. If selected. The candidate will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of quality assurance processes.
Responsibilities
- Learn & implement usage of 7 QC tools
- Regularly use Quality instruments (Vernier Calliper, Screw Gauge, Height gauges)
- Coordinate with Quality team members to regularly audit:
- Production line
- In-coming Raw Material
- Outgoing fnished goods
- Read Engineering Drawings for all new projects & work on documentation:
- Production Part Approval Process
- Machinability & Manufacturability
- Participate in daily Quality meetings
Candidate Profle
- Recent Engineering Graduate (Preferably Mechanical/Production/Industrial)
- Fluent in MS OFFICE (Primarily MS Excel)
- Ability to read 2D / 3D drawings
- Good Communication Skill (English 3/5 || Tamil 4/5)
- Knowledge of plastics moulding and moulds making is a bonus
- Must be within 45 mins by bike ride to the factory or willing to relocate

About the job
We are looking for an experienced candidate (20 years) to lead our Toolroom team.
If selected, the candidate will be in charge of leading all team members - Sr. Tool Maker, Designer, Programmer & Operators. The leader must ensure all toolroom projects are completed on time as per customer requirements. The person will be accountable for the Profitability of the toolroom vertical.
Responsibilities
- Complete feasibility analysis & costing for all RFQs
- Work with Sales & Marketing to convert RFQ’s into PO’s
- Review of all mould design using Solidworks
- Complete development of New Moulds on time, within budget, and handed over to production with all relevant documentation
- Ensure all Toolroom team members are performing as per expectations
- Responsible for training & retaining of toolroom team
- IATF 16949 Documentation to be prepared and maintained
- Daily, weekly & monthly plans to be prepared for preventive/ breakdown maintenance of moulds
- Must coordinate with other toolroom vendors
- Must regularly & Independently review machining hour calculation & utilization
- Must be able to identify problems, give solutions to prevent delays in deliverables
- Must be able to work without supervision & capable of reporting to management
Candidate Profile
- DPMT Diploma in Plastic Mould Technology with PD PMD from CIPET/NTTF /GTTC
- Min. 20 years of experience in design and manufacture of plastic injection/ thermoset moulds
- Must have experience managing projects involving manufacturing IM moulds & mould finishing including activities such as laser etching, chemical etching etc
- Fluent in MS OFFICE (Primarily MS Excel)
- Good Communication Skill (English 3/5 || Tamil 4/5)

The candidate must regularly meet TPI’s customers, ensure highest quality of all deliverables & consistently report back to the TPI leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Continuously look for new customers & opportunities
- Process RFQ’s received from customer & share costing on time
- Work with NPD Associates & Trainees to convert RFQ into Purchase Order
- Support Tooling department in conceptualizing Tool design
- Negotiate commercials with customers to obtain Purchase Orders
- Project Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Prepare Project timelines
- Get approvals from internal & customer teams
- Regularly update timelines & share with customer
- Ensure all projects are completed on time
- Ensure highest quality of all deliverables
Candidate Profile
- Engineering Graduate (Preferably Mechanical/Production/Industrial)

We are looking for an experienced candidate (min. 2 - 3 yrs) to join our Sales & NPD team.
If selected, the candidate will be the primary point of contact to interact with our global customer base. The candidate must work closely with operations teams on TPI & customer side to process new enquiries & coordinate existing projects.
Responsibilities
- Explore feasibility of RFQ’s received from customer
- Work with operations teams to prepare Tooling & Component costing
- Diligently obtain & document necessary approvals for all costing documents
- Prepare M&M / DFM and obtain customer signoff
- Support Senior Engineer to conceptualize Tool design
- Collaborate with PPC / Production and other departments for Trials and prepare Trial and layout report
- Obtain pre-production sample (as per customer requirement) approval for commencing regular production
- Maintain end to end complete documentation for each project
Candidate Profile
